CULTURAL DIVERSITY WEBINAR TRAINING

The cultural diversity web based training is targeted to the business arena and the health care system. It is a series of three one hour training programs which are stand-alone and focus on distinct areas of concern . The program was initially designed for Motorola and since has been tailored for BP and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The value of the web training is that it allows your employees to take the training in the comfort of their own environment and at a time convenient to their schedule minimizing interruption to the work day. Built into this program is testing and compliance, which permits management to see the relative success and the level of understanding of the participants.

The training is segmented into three distinct sessions:

Phase I DIVERSITY AWARENESS
This phase focuses on understanding and valuing cultural differences. It addresses the dimensions of diversity, the rationale for achieving cultural competence, and how this leads to enhanced working relationships, environments and job satisfaction.

Phase II CULTURAL DIVERSITY- A Behavioral Approach

This phase contains the essential modules for Diversity Training: the strategic placement and the behaviors. The emphasis is on a "How to""approach, with
practical activities, exercises and case studies that define and demonstrate specific examples of cultural competence and care.

Phase III INTERACTING WITH INFLUENCE AND INTEGRITY

Phase III is a stand-alone session, focusing on the Diversity of Individual Social Styles and the way an individual is perceived by his or her colleagues with regard to Flexibility( caring about another's need and Empathy (demonstrating an understanding of another's situation and expressing or acting upon that understanding)
